The France international left Juventus for €100 million a few seasons ago, to become Manchester United’s most expensive signing of all-time. But, due to his inconsistent form and fitness struggles, he was unable to live up to the expectations set for him at Old Trafford.

And now, he is on his way back to the club where he has always been appreciated.

The medical assessment for the transfer will take place in July, when the deal will be signed. Full agreement has been reached between the player’s agents and Juventus, and once his contract with Manchester United officially expires, the move will be announced.

Paul Pogba suffered an injury in the game against Liverpool to end his season. As a result, he has been unable to feature for France in their Nations League campaign. There are doubts as to whether he will be able to link up with Juventus’ team in pre-season, as it is a race against time for fitness now.
