Sebastian Haller to join Borussia Dortmund for €35 million: 5-year contract agreed

Sebastian Haller is set to be announced as a new Borussia Dortmund player as soon as this week. The Ivory Coast international has agreed personal terms over a five-year contract with the black and yellow club.

Ajax have also accepted a €35 million bid from the Bundesliga side, and the deal is set to go through very soon as a result. They were previously demanding a €40 million fee for the striker, but are now satisfied with the proposal. As a result, Dortmund are set to land their Erling Haaland replacement in Haller.

Sebastian Haller to join Borussia Dortmund this summer

Dortmund have had a very impressive transfer window so far. Even though they have lost Erling Haaland to Manchester City, they have been able to sign several other players to bolster their squad. Niklas Sule and Nico Schlotterbeck have been signed in defense, while Karim Adeyemi has been signed to bolster the attack.

The arrival of a prolific goalscorer like Sebastian Haller could be exactly what Dortmund need going forward. His profile is similar to Erling Haaland, in that he is physically strong and well built. As a result, he can provide a similar impact to the team in attack.

Haller has experience in the Bundesliga, having featured for Eintracht Frankfurt in the past. And he is now set to play for one of the biggest clubs in the country with a return to Germany.
