Sadio Mane is on his way to Bayern Munich, with a deal agreed between Liverpool and the German giants for the transfer. Liverpool will receive a sum worth €32 million upfront plus add-ons, which would boost the transfer fee up to €40 million.

The player announced his decision to leave the club shortly after the Champions League final, and has now agreed to his next destination. Personal terms have already been agreed for a three-year contract, and his six-year journey with the Merseyside club has now come to an end.

The Senegalese will be announced as a new Bayern Munich player in the coming days once his medical has been completed and the contract has been signed.

The winger only had one year remaining on his contract with Liverpool, and negotiations broke down in the final few weeks of the season. And now, he will be moving on after establishing himself as one of the best in the world in his position.

Sadio Mane’s strike partner, Mohamed Salah, will be staying at the club for the coming season. He will be rejecting any bids for him and will be committed till the end of his contract, which also runs out in 2023. Liverpool have already signed Darwin Nunez as a replacement for their number 10, and have an exciting new chapter ahead of them.
