Angel Di Maria in talks with Juventus and Barcelona over free transfer in 2022

Angel Di Maria will be leaving PSG in the coming days as a free agent. The winger has already played his last game for the club, and will be moving on to a new club this summer.

Juventus are one of the top clubs interested in signing him, but they have not been able to reach an agreement with the player yet. They are not confident about the situation, since they have made a two-year proposal to the winger but he is asking for a one-year deal.

Angel Di Maria in talks with Barcelona as well

The Argentinian has had a conversation with Barcelona manager Xavi over a potential move too. However, due to their financial restrictions this season, he has reportedly been told that they will only be able to give him a €2 million salary.

As a result, he is not yet convinced by the offer since he was earning a much higher amount in France. Given that this is a World Cup year, Angel Di Maria will want to continue at the topmost level so that he can break into the squad during the winter.

So, a move to another European heavyweight during the transfer window could be on the cards. There is still a lot of time for the new season to begin, and the situation surrounding his future could change a lot if a new club makes their interest more concrete.
