Highly rated youngster Jayden Braaf signs for Borussia Dortmund until 2025

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of Manchester City youngster Jayden Braaf on a free transfer on their official website. The teenager has signed a long-term contract with the German club until June 2025.

Braaf is a highly rated talent, and performs best in wide positions. He follows in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho, who also made the move to Dortmund from Manchester City’s youth team before going on to become one of the best young talents in the world.

Borussia Dortmund sign Jayden Braaf on a free transfer.

“Jayden, whose development we have been following closely for years, has shown in the past that he can be a difference player with his speed and talent.”

“After more than a year out through injury, he will certainly need time to regain his former strength and fully establish himself in men’s football. We want to give him this time and gently introduce him. If Jayden masters the phase ahead of him and stays clear, we have a great talent on board in him,” says the designated BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl.

Borussia Dortmund are assembling a promising new squad for the upcoming season. They have already confirmed the transfers of Niklas Sule, Nico Schlotterbeck, Karim Adeyemi and Salih Ozcan this summer. And now, they have agreed the transfer of Jayden Braaf too. With so many new players entering the team, we might be seeing a revived performance from them after the disappointing year gone by.
