Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 Edition will be powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC

Samsung will be launching a new version of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and the tab has been in the news for the past week. As per the newest leak, all the details of the tablet have been revealed. The leak not only discloses the official name of the product but also reveals the specifications.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite specifications:

The upcoming tablet will officially launch as the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 Edition. It will have the exact same design as the original Galaxy Tab S6 Lite that launched in 2020. As a matter of fact, most of the specifications are the same.

The only points of difference between the two models are the chip powering them and the software that they run. The 2022 Edition of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will be powered by the Snapdragon 720G chip instead of an Exynos 9611 chip.

The tablet in addition to this will run on Android 12 OS with One UI 4. x on top. The existing tablet runs the same version of the software but when it launched, it ran on One UI 2. x based on Android 10 OS.

Apart from this, there is nothing really new. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 Edition will arrive with a 10.4″ display TFT LCD with a resolution of 2400 x 1200 pixels and stylus support. For optics, it has an 8MP sensor on the rear, a 5MP selfie shooter, dual-stereo speakers, and a 7,040mAh battery with support for 15W charging.

The tablet will be sold in WiFi-only and LTE variants with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. They will retail at EUR 379 and EUR 439 respectively. Samsung has not yet announced the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 Edition officially yet.
