Resident Evil: The New Trailer Reveals the Survival of two siblings in Zombie Apocalypse

Resident Evil going to get a new spin-off holding the hand of Netflix. Netflix currently dropped a new trailer for their upcoming live-action series Resident Evil made by following the iconic survival horror video game unlock the first look of the latest video game adaptation series. 

Resident Evil: Plot 

The story of the series mainly follows Jade Wesker who is the daughter of longtime antagonist or villain Albert Wesker and takes a long jump to the years between 2022 and 2036. The story contains modern-day segments that follow Jade and also her sister Billie as they are shifting with the entire family to New Raccoon City and as the trailer continues the two of them slowly come to know about the dark secret that their father has hidden.

The 2036 segments reveal that Jade is attempting to survive in a world that has been dominated by zombies made by the Umbrella Corporation’s T-Virus. The trailer shows her struggle to survive in this apocalypse while they are roaming in search of answers as to what is going to happen in Billie’s life.

The brand-new trailer represents a good idea that increases the expectation from sisters Billie and jade entering into the ideal community of New Raccoon City, the place embedded with mysteries and secrets, and also the origin of the event.  It assumes that all these things are the beginning of the horribly wrong along with the shot of a laboratory that is going to intercut such shots for picture-perfect life in this city.

After watching the trailer, we assume that the bottles of blood in the laboratory have been labeled “Billie” and “Jade” respectively. The new trailer takes a jump to the future to show a world ravaged by the zombies along two sisters isolated, and Jade is searching for the answers.

This new spin-off will contain six-film series directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and also featuring Milla Jovovich which ran from 2002 to 2017. There was also a standalone movie that has been dropped in 2021 named Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City directed by Johannes Roberts. The new series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness on Netflix come with his first live-action adaptation of Resident Evil from the streaming service.

Resident Evil:  Cast

The new Resident Evil spin-off features Lance Reddick as the lead cast as Albert Wesker. Ella Balinski, Tamara smart, Paola Nunez, Siena Agudong, and Adeline Rudolph. This latest Netflix Resident Evil series also had officially been greenlit in 2020 after the series passed through a long success under development hell along with the Constantine Film, now the production company is behind both the Andersson and Robers films as well as the upcoming series can attempt to get Such a live-action series has the producer and also the showrunner of Supernatural, Andrew Dab, at the helm.

Dabb also serves as the showrunner and also as the executive producer of this latest series at the time of writing the show along with the fellow executive producer, Mary Leah Sutton.  There are other executive producers included in this project like Robert Kulzer, Oliver Berben of Constantin Film, and Martin Moszkowicz serving as the producer. 

Resident Evil: Release Date

The Resident Evil spin-off is set to premiere on Netflix on 14th July 2022.
