OnePlus held a launch event today wherein it launched the OnePlus 10R and the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. The 10R is the global version of the OnePlus Ace that launched in China, it arrives with amazing charging capabilities as well.
OnePlus 10R specifications:
The OnePlus 10R features a 6.7″ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels. The device has an adaptive refresh rate that can scale from 60Hz to 90Hz on its own. It has a touch response rate of 730Hz.
The highlight of the 10R is its battery, it arrives with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 150W SuperVOOC charging, and the battery can go from 1 to 30% in just 3 minutes and 1% to 100% in just 17 minutes. Note that this is the one with SuperVOOC Endurance Edition.
The regular version arrives with 80W SuperVOOC charging and a 5,000mAh battery, it can charge from 1 to 100% in 32 minutes. Both the versions of the OnePlus 10R arrive with Custom smart charging chips that ensure safe charging. The usual issue is that super-fast battery chargers lead to quicker battery degeneration. The OnePlus 10R, however, has a Smart Battery Health Algorithm along with Healing Technology that ensures the 150W SuperVOOC Endurance Edition retains nearly 80% of its capacity post 1,600 charges. This is double the industry standard of 800 cycles.
The 10R is powered by the Dimensity 8100 chip that has been paired with 8GB/12GB RAM options and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device has an integrated 3D Passive Cooling System that is the largest in a OnePlus device to date.
In the optics department, the OnePlus 10R features a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter.
It runs on OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12 OS. OnePlus has assured users of providing 3 major OS updates and 4 years of security updates. The device will go on sale via OnePlus’ official site, Amazon, Reliance Digital, Croma, and other partners from the 4th of May at 12 PM
The standard 80W version is priced at 38,999 INR for the 8GB+128GB variant, 42,999 INR for the 12GB+256GB variant, the 150W variant is priced at 43,999 INR for the 12GB+256GB version. It arrives in Sierra Black and Green color.
