Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has seemingly confirmed that Paul Pogba will be leaving the club at the end of the season. The midfielder went off injured in the initial few minutes of the game against Liverpool.

In the aftermath of his calf injury, it seems like he will not be able to feature for the club again by the end of the season. Moreover, his contract expires in June, which means that he might have played his last game for Manchester United in the derby against the Merseyside club.

Paul Pogba set to leave Manchester United

Here is what Ralf Rangnick had to say about Paul Pogba’s future:

“It’s difficult to say [why]. If myself or other coaches knew it would be easier to change that but I don’t know. Right now it doesn’t make sense to think about that because he won’t be available for tomorrow and most likely not for the upcoming games.

“As it seems right now he will not renew his contract and I don’t know, maybe the club or Erik [ten Hag] will not want to renew his contract, I don’t know. It’s most likely he won’t be here anymore next season.”

Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are among the interested parties for the player. Real Madrid have also been rumoured to be in the race, but have not made any contact with the player and his agent yet. It now remains to be seen where the Frenchman will play his football next season, with an exit imminent.
