The upcoming movie Yashoda is going to be a new-age thriller. The movie is directed by the duo named Hari and Harish. The movie Yashoda stars Samantha who will portray the author-backed role in this movie. The movie is going to release in different languages such as Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Sivalenka Krishna Prasad while talking about the commencement event of the shoot has said that “We all know that Samantha attained pan-India attention with The Family Man 2. In accordance with her current image, we have conceived a thriller that caters to a wide section of the audience.”

The movie stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu as Yashoda, Unni Mukundan as Gautham, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as Madhubala, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, and Priyanka Sharma.
Meanwhile, after this project, she has Shaakuntalam and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal in her bucket full of lists. She also has an international project, Arrangements of Love, which is going to be directed by Philip John of Downton Abbey fame.
