Brazilian winger Raphinha has been linked with Barcelona for the summer transfer window. The two parties have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms for a five-year contract.

The report comes from several sources, including Matteo Moretto who reports that terms including the length of the contract and the salary have been agreed. Now, only an agreement between the two clubs is needed for the transfer to go through.

Raphinha to join Barcelona in the summer?

By the looks of things right now, Ousmane Dembele will be leaving Camp Nou at the end of the season. The France international’s contract with the club runs out in June, and he hasn’t accepted the terms offered yet.

In January, it was almost certain that the winger would end up leaving after the public fallout involving the board and himself. However, he ended up staying despite claims that he would not be allowed to feature in the first team. He is now a part of Xavi’s line-up, and is in remarkable form.

While Barcelona’s offer is still available, Dembele and his entourage will not be accepting it. Paris Saint-Germain is the most heavily rumoured destination for him, as he is expected to replace Angel Di Maria at the French capital.

Raphinha has a very similar profile to Dembele, and with his pace and skillful presence on the ball, he would be a great replacement. And if Leeds United are relegated from the Premier League this season, Barcelona will be able to sign the forward for much less than his €75 million release clause.
