“Money Heist ‘Berlin’ “: Netflix Series has got the latest spin-off once again

Undoubtedly, Money Heist is one of Netflix’s biggest shows and it is also over about we are not quite confirmed along with the franchise just yet. It seems that not only do we get such of the new South Korean version with the Spanish series, but we are also getting with such a full-fledged spin-off with such fan-favorite character, Berlin.

 There is also a  spin-off that had been long rumored as we came closer with the final season that also touched down on Netflix in two parts in 2021. It seems that Alex Pina, the creator of Money Heist also had been teased many times with the possibility of expanding along with the characters to be introduced into the mother ship series.

It seems that before Berlin was officially revealed, Alex Pina also told Oprah Daily as he had opened to a spin-off saying:


” We do have many possibilities for some spinoffs, yes, and I think that5’s thanks to the strong and powerful identities of the characters. We have always looked for characters to have a very complex, layered design. So I think almost every character of Money Heist has a  duality that we  would like to see in a spinoff we could  watch any of them in other  contexts.”

Netflix also officially revealed the latest season in late November 2021 just days before season 5 part 2 arrived on Netflix.

It seems that along with the announcement of the series, we  got a very brief tease about the  latest spinoff alongside the caption:

Money Heist: Berlin Series: Who is Behind?

Alex Pina also will be coming to write the show as he also will be working through his production company Vancouver Media. Atresmedia is also listed among the production companies.

Alex Pina also stuck to a complete deal with Netflix back in July 2018 and also renewed that deal in March 2022.

It is 49-year-old actor Pedro Alonso has been confirmed for the new series. It has been given the show is likely to explore the back story, we also can make a few educated guesses as to who will feature.

Money Heist: Berlin Series: What is Berlin

The title suggests that we will be focused on the titular character of Berlin also known as Andres de Fonollosa. It also has not been set after Money Heist. He had described his relationship in the series like the “5 times that he believed in love”.

It is given that Berlin is as also in fact the brothers along with the Professors and it is highly like well explores their early years together. We also don’t have a huge quantity of information with regards to their father dying or how he met Palermo, Marsella, and Bogota.

We may also get to watch more of the most Berlin made in Champs-Elysees, Paris where he can steal 434 diamonds. We can also get to see more of his battle with Helmer’s Myopathy.
