As drinking water is necessary food is too, build farms, fishing traps, rabbit traps and hunt some of the giant animals like bear, deer, wild pigs, wolves that you give you more than necessary food for you as well for you villager

Explore different villagers for resources, quest, and also to find your soulmate. Make sure your reputation level is high otherwise you will be rejected by girls and you will feel bad. As no woman would want to risk their future if you don’t have work or settlement. Build a small community of a village then try to impress someone.
Make sure to keep in mind that you cannot marry a girl of a 10 year age difference. Each girl has an approval percentage approach according to it. You can start to flirt with them when the approval level of the woman is above 60. Don praise yourself or her figure it will not help in making the affection level increase.
Management is a place where you can assign your villagers to employment. There are a lot of things a villager can do assigned according to your wish, there are farmers, well workers, people who can work in the mines, poultry and animal workers, etc
To start a settlement make sure of this thing
1. Don’t build your settlement too far from the water
2. Don’t stack houses keep a fair distance within each house and other workplaces
3. Make sure to build a well at first because it will be the water source of your settlement
4. Make sure that villagers are in a good mood, complete their needs of food, shelter, water, etc
5. Donkeys are not useless if you compare them to horses, Yes they don’t match the speed of horses but they can carry a good amount of stuff on their back.
6. Complete the basic quests given to you by the game, especially at first don’t ignore and jump straight into building houses and lots because you won’t be able to build without even doing one quest.
