5. Real Madrid 3-1 PSG 

After going down 2-0 by the first half of the second leg, Madrid looked down and out against the French giants. But, a sensational second-half hat-trick from Karim Benzema ensured that Los Blancos progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition.

4. Chelsea 4-1 Napoli 

En route to their maiden Champions League title, the Blues had to defeat Barcelona and Bayern Munich in the last two games. But, they also had to overcome Napoli before that, overturning a 3-1 deficit in the first leg to ultimately end up winning the competition. 

3. Barcelona 6-1 PSG 

The Blaugrana had to turn around a massive deficit following their 4-0 defeat in the first leg against the Parisians. Barcelona were in the game 4-3 by the hour mark in the second leg, and eventually went on to win the game in extra time. 

2. Liverpool 3-3 AC Milan (3-2 pens)

By the time the first half of the 2004/05 final was played out, Milan were leading 3-0. But, the game was far from over. By the hour mark, Liverpool were back on level terms, and eventually went on to lift their fifth European crown by winning 3-2 on penalties.

1. Manchester United 2-1 Bayern Munich 

After going up within the sixth minute, Bayern Munich had a stronghold on the final of the 98/99 edition. But, the title slipped away from them within the final minutes of the game, courtesy of goals from Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
