Redmi Max 100″ TV and RedmiBook Pro 2022 launch alongside the K50 Series

Xiaomi held a massive launch event today wherein it announced the Redmi K50, K50 Pro, and K40s phones. In addition to those, we also got the new 100″ Redmi Max TV and a 15″ Redmi Book Pro 2022 laptop.

The Redmi Max 100 is the largest TV that Xiaomi has made to date, it beats Redmi’s 2020 Smart TV Max that had a diagonal of 98″. The Redmi Max 100 is the epitome of a true home cinema replacement with a whopping diagonal of 2,540mm.

The LCD panel offers 4K resolution with a pixel range of 3840 x 2160 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It covered 94% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The TV comes with support for Dolby Audio, Dolby Atmos, and DTS-HD audio.

There are two 15W speakers for sound output, Xiaomi has integrated a quad-processor with A73 performance cores coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. On the software spectrum of thins, the Redmi Max 100 runs on MIUI for TV. The TV comes with Wi-Fi 6 and features two HDMI 2.1 ports.

The Redmi Max 100 retails for CNY 19,999 or $3,150(2,39,557 INR) in China.

RedmiBook Pro 2022:

Xiaomi also launched the latest flagship Redmi laptop with the RedmiBook Pro 2022. This new model brings 12-gen Intel core processors, an optional NVIDIA RTX 2050 GPU, and a metal unibody design.

The laptop has a 15″ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 3200 x 2000 pixels. It carries a 90Hz refresh rate as well as an aspect ratio of 16:10. The RedmiBook Pro 2022 comes in an Intel Core-i7 12650H processor version or an i5-12450H version.

You get 16GB LPDDR5 RAM along with 512GB storage in both variants. The higher-end model comes with NVIDIA RTX 2050 GPUs with 4GB GDDR6 RAM while the baseline i5 model gets Intel UHD graphics.

It packs a 72Wh battery with support for 100W charging and it runs on Windows 11 OS. You get two thunderbolt ports, two USB-A 3.2 ports, an HDMI 2.0 connector, an audio jack, and an SD card reader.

The RedmiBook Pro 2022 with the Core-i5 processor and Intel UHD graphics card retails for CNY 5,299 or $834(63,417 INR). The Core-i7 trim with the RTX 2050 dedicated GPU will retail for CNY 7,199 or $1,133(86,151 INR). Xiaomi has also confirmed an AMD 6000H processor version of the RedmiBook Pro 2022 set to arrive later this year.
