Apple iPhone 14 will not have a mini model but will launch in 4 variants with advanced satellite features

Apple launched the iPhone 13 Series a couple of months ago, the Series featured four models in total but now, a new report sheds some light on a bunch of interesting features on the upcoming iPhone 14 models.

The report arrives courtesy of 9to5Mac, the source claims that the new iPhone models are likely to have different chips and that the Pro models may now feature a taller display owing to a brand new design. Apple is working on new advanced satellite features as well for the iPhone 14 Series. As per recent rumors, Apple’s iPhone 14 will have four new models, although there will not be a mini model this year.

The iPhone 14 will come in 6.1″ and 6.7″ display versions. The 5.4″ iPhone mini will be discontinued. These models are likely to have the same display resolution as the current iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The display on the iPhone 14 Pro and the 14 Pro Max is likely to be larger than the previous generation devices. There will be a new ‘notch+pill’ design that will replace the notch.

The sources also confirmed that there will be two new iPhone 14 models that will be powered by the A15 Bionic chip. The other two models will have two different versions of the A15 Bionic chip and one of them will have an extra GPU core with 6GB RAM.

Apple may even rebrand the chip as the A15x, it had done this previously for the 2020 iPad Pro that came powered with the A12Z chipset.
