IND vs SL: 100% spectators will be allowed in the Night test in Bengaluru

India is all set to face the Sri Lankan team for the Pink Ball Test at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The best part is that 100% spectators will be allowed to see the night test and their favourite players in action.

Earlier, it was decided that only 50% of the fans will be allowed by Karnataka Cricket Board (KCA) and the tickets were sold out in a few hours. After seeing this frenzy response, the stadium capacity was increased to the maximum. Around 10,000 tickets were available to the public and the rest were reserved for the former players and club members.

There’s a lot of anticipation and excitement for the match that will start at the weekend. After 2 years, the fans will see their favourite players on the field. India played its last Test match against Afghanistan in 2018 at the venue and the last international game against Australia in 2020.

Bangalore is the second home of Virat Kohli as he has been a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore for a very long time. Fans do expect the star batter to smash a century. The last time Kohli scored a century was in November 2019 in Kolkata which was also the day night test against Bangladesh.

India is already leading the two-match series by 1-0. Rohit Sharma and Co. will be eyeing a victory against Sri Lanka to continue their winning streak.

The M Chinnaswamy stadium has been always a high scoring venue but it could be different for the first pink-ball game. It is speculated that the first season will benefit the batters and fast bowlers will need assistance. Dew will play a major role in bowling, spinners will have a tough time gripping the bowler in the later part of the day.
