Everything you need to know about the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition

Redmi is expected to launch a brand new variant in the K50 Series, the Redmi K50 Series Gaming Edition. The device has recently been teased with the latest teaser showcasing its features:

The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will launch with CyberEngine. a vibrating motor, which as per the brand is the world’s first ultra-wideband X-axis based motor. It has a large volume of 560mm³ and carries support for ultrawide frequency of 50Hz to 500Hz. In addition to this, the device is likely to have a 130Hz resonant frequency making it the only android device to do so.

Apart from this, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is also expected to feature a dual symmetrical stereo speaker setup by JBL, enhanced by Dolby Atmos support.

The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will feature a 6.67″ AMOLED screen made by Huaxing Optoelectronics. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip and have a 64MP primary sensor on the rear.

In terms of battery, the device will be equipped with a 4,700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. The connectivity options available will be Bluetooth, dual-band WiFi, and n5/n7/n38/n41/n77 5G bands.

In terms of pricing, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is likely to be priced at 3,499 Yuan or $550 (41,400 INR). The pricing is exclusive to China. The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition is likely to be called the POCO F4 GT globally.
