“Asia Economic Dialogue 2022 (AED 2022)”: The Resilient Global Growth in a Post-Pandemic World has been covered

This year the Asia Economic Dialogue (AED) 2022 happened for the 6th time and they have collaborated with Pune International Centre. It was a geo-economics conference. It exposed the policy research think tank and Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India will be organized in the virtual mode from 23rd February to 25th February 2022.

The main objective of today’s conference is Resilient Global Growth in a post-pandemic World and the discussion of the conference aims at the impact of Covid-19 on trade and finance on the whole world and mainly on Asia as well as several ways to deal with the impact.

In the conference our respected speakers discussed the growth of the economy, they have discussed startups, Transforming Workspaces & Economic Growth. They also have discussed Economic Diplomacy.

They confirmed the respected and big name for the 23rd February virtual mode conference. When it comes to China than one thing also comes the relationship of India and China due to border issues. Today the speakers also clearly discussed it.

The conference is mainly a major international event that is featuring high-level participants from foreign ministers with several various countries, seniors’ bureaucrats, industry leaders, domain experts, and also have such global trade and financial experts. The Asia Economic dialogue held on 8th Feb 2022 on virtual mode revealed all the promo net speakers like Mr. Ajith Nivard Cabraal (Governor, Central Bank of Sri Lanka), Mr. Benjamin R. Diokno (Governor, Central Bank of Philippines), Dr. Baba Kalyani (MD, Bharat Forge), Dr. Jortg Wuttke (President, European Chamber of Commerce on China) and Ms. Nihad Kabir (President, Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Dhaka).

The most interesting point is Mr. Mukesh Ambani (CMD, Reliance Industries Ltd) also will get engaged in a Fireside Chat with Dr. R. A. Mashelkar (National Research Professor and President, Pune International Centre) on the topic of ‘Green Energy for a Sustainable Future. The conference also reveals about use of renewable energy in India.

It seems that the sessions with the Central Bankers of 3 countries will contain Dr. Michael Patra (Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India. The topic ‘Economic Policy for Sustained  Post-Pandemic  Growth will be a speech by Dr. Rakesh Mohan (President & Distinguished Fellow, Centre for  Social and Economic  Progress). Dr. Mohan is the former Deputy Governor of the RBI.

The next session on Asian Industry in the Post-Pandemic Wolf will be covered by Dr. Ganesh Natarajan. It seems that this can be will contain Dr. Baba Kalyani (M Bharat Forge), Dr. Jeorge Wuttke (President, European Chamber of Commerce in China), Ms. Nihad Kabir (President, Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Dhaka, and a senior corporate leader belong to South Korea).

 The pandemic extended for more than two years has provided a huge expansion of the digital world and it’s definitely a positive side that holds our economy. The next session on ‘The Emerging Digital World’ will five a closer look at this. This session will be covered by Mr. Ravi Pandit) Chairman KPIT and the panelists contain Mr. Nithin Kmath, (Co-founder and CEO, Zerodha), Mr. Vijay M. Karnani, (former India Head, Goldman Sachs), and Mr. Sameer Nair (CEO, Applause Entertainment).

The pandemic also hit the livelihood of million people so there will be a session, ‘ Livelihood creation and Enhancing Incomes in the Post-Pandemic World’ this topic will be covered by the well-known economist Dr. Ajit Ranade will be one of the important ones and the panelists who are the recently appointed as Vice-Chancellor of the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics Prof. Maitresh (Ghatak, Professor of Economics, London School of Economics), It also contains Prof. Amrita Dhillon, (Professor of Economics, Kings College, London),  Prof. Jonathan Murdoch ( professor of Public Policy and  Economics at New York University), and Dr. Binayak Sen  (The Director-General, Bangladesh Institute of Developmental Studies).

It is true that the repeated lockdowns banning travels and disruptions across the world have their impact on world readers. Now the main question is how to will be viewed by the World Trade Organization (WTO). It seems that the New Direction for World Trade will be covered by Harsha Vardhana Singh (former Deputy Director-General of the WTO). It seems that Madam Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (Director General of WTO) and also has been invited for a Fireside Chat with Dr. Harsha. There are also the Permanent Representatives to the WTO from India, South Africa, and Australia who also will become among the panelists at the session.

It seems that startups and Unicorns just have been grabbing the headlines and this conference also will be featuring a session on Start-Up in the Post-Pandemic World. This session has been covered by Mr. Amit Paranjape (Co-founder, ReliScore.com. It seems that speakers contain well-known Israeli Journalists and Author, Mr. Saul Singer also wrote the global bestseller, ‘Start-Up Nation’ Three are Mr. Monisf Darda (Co-founder and CTO, ICERTIS), Mr. Kususmo Martanto (CEO, Blibli), and Dr. Parul Ganju (Co-founder and CEO, Ahammune Biosciences).

It seems that the two more interesting sessions that mention as the first session on ‘India’s Contribution in Reducing Global vaccine Inequity)  covered by  Dr. Ramen Gangajedkar ( former head of largest manufacturer of vaccines) will be represented on this panel by Dr. Umesh Shaligram (Director R &D). there are also other panelists contain Dr. Krishna Ella (Chairman and MD Bharat Biotech International Ltd), and Dr. Gagandeep Kang (the eminent virologists and Fellow of the Royal Society).

It seems that the penultimate session is also on the impact of the pandemic on workspaces and it seems that this session of ‘Transforming Workspaces and Economic Growth (DSG-8) has been focused on the United Nations, growth, employment, and also decent work for all. The session will be covered by Mr. Pradeep Bhargava (Chairman, Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Ltd). The panelists of this session are: Mr. Sangheon Leee(Director, Employment, ILO(International Labor Organization)), Ms. Zuena Aziz (Principal Coordinator, SDG Affairs, PMO of Bangladesh),  Mr. Stefano Scarpetta (Director, Employment, Labour and Social Affairs, OECD (The Organization for Economic Corporation and Development)), and Mr. Amitabh Kant (CEO, NITI Aayog).

There is the valedictory session that has been focused on India’s Approach to Economic Recovery in the Post-Pandemic World and also this session will be covered by Dr. Vijay Kelkar (the eminent economist; former Chairman of the 13th Finance Commission and Vice President, PIC.). The Hon. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also has been invited to provide the valedictory address.

They also pool their resources, capabilities, and experience for giving the shape to the papers and also the programmers that have been produced by PIC.
