Tecno Pova 5G will launch in India on the 8th of February

Recently, Transsion brand Tecno confirmed that it will be launching the TECNO POVA 5G in India. The brand has revealed the launch date today, let us take a look at what we know of the device so far along with its availability.

As per the official Twitter account of Tecno India, the Tecno POVA 5G will launch in India on the 8th of February. The brand has not yet disclosed the time of the launch but based on its history, the company will launch the device at 12 PM IST.

The specs of the device are out as it had debuted in Nigeria at the end of December 2021. It was priced at $289 or 21,571 INR.

The device features a 6.9″ FHD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, it has the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 3GB of additional Virtual RAM, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, and it runs on HiOS 8 based on Android 11.

In the optics department, the device has a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary shooter, a 2MP secondary shooter, and an AI lens. It has a 16MP sensor on the front.

For security, you get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 6,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.

The Tecno POVA 5G could be priced between 18,000-20,000 INR in India.
