Vivo NEX 5 renders surface online

The renders of the Vivo NEX 5 have been released by Equal Leaks in partnership with Apple Concepts Pro. The images shared by the sources appear to be based on the rumors surrounding the Vivo NEX 5. Chinese tipster WHY LAB has claimed that the design shown in the new renders is very close to the actual design of the production unit of the NEX 5.

As per the renders of the Vivo NEX 5, the display will feature a punch-hole display with curved edges and super-slim upper and lower bezels. The display will have an under-display fingerprint sensor. The right spine carries the volume rocker and a power key.

Coming to the rear shell of the NEX 5, the camera module is rectangular in shape with a circular camera unit on the left and the “Vivo/Zeiss co-engineered” branding on the right.

The camera unit itself has four sensors and an LED flash. The rear design varies from the previous live shots of the device, we can expect the Vivo NEX 5 to arrive in light blue, black, and orange colors as per the renders.

So far we know that the Vivo NEX 5 will measure 168.5×76.5×9.2mm and weighs 221g. It is expected to feature a 7″ AMOLED E5 display that offers a quad HD resolution along with a high refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.

The complete details of the NEX 5’s camera are not known yet, although we can expect it to feature a 5x periscope telephoto lens. The device could arrive in an 8GB RAM+256GB storage, 12GB RAM+256GB storage, and 12GB RAM+512GB storage variants. It will come in Earth Gray and Night Black.
