“Texas Chainsaw Massacre”: All We Know About the Upcoming Horror Film

Netflix has dropped the new trailer of the killer film ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It seems that Leatherface has been gone for closely half of a century as we thought. It is looking like the huge number of the murderer of the ’70s is in return for more blood. It is mainly a direct sequel of the 1974 slasher horror flick having the same name.

It seems that the latest Texas Chainsaw Massacre is mainly continuing the tale of the 1974  film with Sally Hardesty with the sole survivor with the original massacre having ready for taking her revenge on the cannibalistic killer.

The story of the film follows a group of teenagers who are planning to establish a business in the remote town of Harlow, Texas. The little to do they have been known that the town is facing the question with the site of such popular bloodbath of 1974 and the history is still haunting the locals. At the corner, somewhere, Leatherface the evil behind the massacre has tried to hide for decades, and now as he guarded for a living has been distributed with the newcomers and nothing with stopping him from reigniting his killing spree.

It has been nearly half of the century since the Hardesty family of Texas had been brutally murdered. Sally Hardesty had the only one to manage n escape. After that, no one has ever seen or heard about Leatherface. It is his legacy that remains and also haunts the townsfolk like Sally.

 As the elder now, Sally also has not forgotten Leatherface or what he had done for her family. It means like a bunch of strangers coming to the town and also just awakened the sleeping monster. It seems that the sequel film will most likely watch Sally and Leatherface go head to head once more and maybe might just be their last violent showdown.

The clip has been started with ominous music playing behind the background, fore shading the haunting experience that you are going to have. It continues through the spine thrilling and dark scenes, it reveals a hand pulling out the fabled chainsaw from behind the wall. The trailer also exposes the new faces in town and provides a glimpse of the new characters Melody, Lila, Ruth, and Dante. It also has been shown how they have been chased by Leatherface. The clip ended with an older Leatherface holding up the human-skin mask seen from behind.

It seems that the short trailer does not expose much about the plot or any of the major scenes. It confirms the chilling senses that the iconic of the slasher series. It has been clear that there is a lot at stake for the victims with the trailer for proving enough a lot of the grisly deaths and huge violence are in the store. It is clear from all of the other remakes and spin-offs that have made the release of the original film. It is looking like the years of hiding did not change much for Leatherface. For almost sixty years old, his thirst for blood and maniacal killing is going to terrorize Texas once more.

This classic-cult slasher flick is directed by David Blue Garcia and also scripted by Chris Thomas Devlin also has been known for his last work on Cobweb. This film is based on the original written story by Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues. This Netflix film is mainly the ninth installment in the popular and long-running franchise. This film features Mark Burnham, Olwen Fouere, Elsie Fisher, Sarah Yarkin, Jacob Latimore, and Nell Hudson. The cast also contains  Moe Dunford, Alice Krige, Jessica Allain, Sam  Douglas, William Hope, and Jolyon Coy.

Mark Burnham plays Leatherface. It is also behind all the massacres in the stories, Leatherface is also mentally unstable with the mass murderer. This name has been derived from the human skin mask that he had been wearing. The signature weapon with the chainsaw but he also uses other tools for ordering his victims. He also has been underground for nearly 50 years until he has got disturbed by the arrival of the people in town.

Olwen Fourier plays Sally Hardesty, the leading character in the 1974 film who is also the only survivor of the first massacre. After Leatherface kills her full family, Sally has captured and also tortured by him but somehow manages to escape. Sally also now becomes old but is also seeking vengeance for her family in the main film.

Sarah Yarkin playing the role of Melody who is a young entrepreneur from San Francisco and coming to Harlow with the plan to begin a business.

Elsie Fisher plays Lila who is the teenage sister of Melody. She has a hobby of photography and uses a wheelchair.

Jacob Latimore reveals Dante who is a close friend of Melody and Lila’s who also comes to Harlow with them. He also has a girlfriend who is also a friend of the sisters.

Besides those characters, it also features Moe Dunford as Ritcher, Alice Kringe as Mrs.  Mc, Nell Hudson as Ruth, Sam Douglas as Herb, William Hope as Sheriff Hathaway, and Jolyon Coy.

We will like to inform you that the latest Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a straight sequel to the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre of 1974. It is a complete horror franchise filled with eight slasher movies not directly connected to the original comics and based on the game of 1974.

The main center of the entire story is Leatherface and his family who just terrorize anyone who has come close with their territories into the remote countryside of Texas. All of them just has been deranged murders with the focus on Leatherface. He has been controlled excessively by his family and also has been known for his high gruesome ways of killing. In the 1974 film, Sally Hardesty becomes the primary victim of Leatherface.
