Although Denis Zakaria only has six months remaining on his current deal with Borussia Monchengladbach, Juventus are pushing to sign the player immediately.

The player will be available on a free transfer in the summer, but Juventus want to secure the signing of the midfielder immediately, without having to compete with other clubs for his signature in the summer.

Denis Zakaria could join Juventus immediately

Zakaria has announced his desire to part with the foals in the summer, alongside Matthias Ginter. However, Gladbach could be caught without a replacement for the talented midfielder if they let him leave in the final couple of days of the transfer window.

Juventus have made their proposal for the player, bidding €7 million including add-ons for Zakaria. The two clubs, and the player’s agents are in direct contact as of now, as they attempt to clarify the situation. Borussia Monchengladbach are expected to make their final decision very soon, since time is running out fast.

Rodrigo Bentacur and Arthur Melo have both attracted interest from Aston Villa, and Arsenal respectively. Juventus need a replacement if one of them leaves, and conversely, also need one midfielder to leave if they are able to secure the signing of Denis Zakaria at this stage.

After being dormant for the majority of the winter transfer window, their performance could be very successful with the capture of Dusan Vlahovic alongside the 25-year-old. The departure of players like Arthur would further improve the quality of business carried out.
