Ousmane Dembele situation reaches boiling point at Barca

Ousmane Dembele is yet again on the transfer list for Barcelona, after failing to renew his contract with the Blaugrana still. The French winger had reportedly reached an agreement with the club for a lowered salary earlier.

But, upon the arrival of Ferran Torres, things took a turn for the worse and the player is now running out of time on his deal. As a result, Xavi has stated that the forward could leave the club if the right offer arrives for him in the January transfer window.

Ousmane Dembele transfer talks begin once again

Xavi has been trying to get Ousmane Dembele to stay at the club ever since he took over the first team. But despite that, the former Borussia Dortmund man has failed to commit his future to Camp Nou.

“We’re in a position in which we have to stop this right now,

“We can’t wait for Ousmane. Either renew the contract or a solution to sell him must be found immediately”, said Xavi.

“I don’t consider sending him to the stands. He says he wants to stay but then he doesn’t sign”.

Dembele has found his way back to the first team after dealing with a number of injuries throughout his Barcelona career. But, it seems like his time in the lineup might be short lived since there is a chance he could be leaving the club very soon.

With only eleven days remaining in the January transfer window, an agreement needs to be reached soon between Barcelona and Dembele, or another club, for a transfer away.
