iQOO 9 Series launches with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and an amazing rear camera island

The highly-anticipated iQOO 9 Series has finally launched today, there are two devices in the lineup, the iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Pro.

Let us take a detailed look at the specs of the devices:

iQOO 9

The iQOO 9 has launched with a 6.78″ FHD+ E5 AMOLED display with an amazing refresh rate of 120Hz. The highlight of the device is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip that powers it. The chip has been paired with 8GB/12GB RAM options and 256GB/512GB configurations.

It has a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, a touch sampling rate of 1000Hz, a Stereo Dual Speaker, and an independent display chip pro.

The iQOO 9 features an amazing triple camera setup, with a 50MP Samsung GN5 1/1.57 primary sensor with support for OIS, we also see a 13MP wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view and a 12MP camera for portrait images.

In the meantime, the iQOO 9 comes with a 16MP selfie shooter as well.

The iQOO 9 runs OriginsOS Ocean based on Android 12, it has an in-display fingerprint scanner, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, support for Wi-Fi6, NFC support, and Bluetooth 5.2. It also features the VC Cooling system along with an X-axis motor.

The iQOO 9 has a 4,700mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.

Coming to the pricing of the iQOO 9, the 8GB+256GB base variant is priced at RMB 3,999 or 47,000 INR while the 12GB+256GB variant is priced at RMB 4,399 or 51,600 INR. The top-end variant is priced at RMB 4,799 or 56,240 for 12GB+512GB.

The iQOO 9 comes in orange, BMW motorsport, and black color variant.

iQOO 9 Pro

The iQOO 9 Pro has a 6.78″ 2K E5 AMOLED Curved display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. It supports 10-bit colors.

The iQOO 9 Pro is also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and is paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM options.

The display has a touch sampling rate of 300Hz, a touch sampling rate of 1000Hz, and a peak brightness of 1500 nits. It comes with Hi-Res audio certification, Stereo dual speakers, and an Independent display chip pro.

The iQOO 9 Pro features a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP secondary sensor, and a 16MP portrait lens. It has a 16MP selfie shooter as well.

The iQOO 9 Pro runs on Android 12-based OriginOS, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor, has VC Cooling, an X-axis motor, and supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.

The iQOO 9 Pro is available in an Orange and BMW motorsport variant. The 8GB RAM+256GB variant is priced at RMB 4,999 or 58,400 INR, the 12GB RAM+256GB variant is priced at RMB 5,499 or 64,200 INR, and the 12GB RAM+512GB variant is priced at RMB 5,999 or 70,000 INR.
