The brand-new Alto K10 S-CNG will go on sale in the domestic market, according to Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL). In August 2022, the next-generation entry-level hatchback had its local premiere, and customers have been pleased with it. The Alto K10 S-CNG is the newest model to the CNG lineup, which has been rapidly growing for the majority of this year at the largest automaker in the nation.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Launched
Power for the 1.0-liter three-cylinder Dual Jet Dual VVT K-series petrol engine powers the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 S-CNG. The Alto K10 S-CNG, like other S-CNG vehicles, is fitted with dual-interdependent ECUs and generates a maximum output of 56.69 PS at 5,300 rpm and a maximum torque of 82.1 Nm at 3,400 rpm when operating in CNG Mode.
The Alto K-10 S-CNG is powered by a five-speed manual transmission, which has a stated fuel efficiency of 33.85 km/kg. Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, spoke about the introduction and said that the Alto brand has served as a representation of how Maruti Suzuki has changed in response to customers’ evolving needs.
Moreover, due to its exceptional fuel efficiency, the Alto has been the best-selling car in the nation for 16 years running. They are confident that the release of the S-CNG model will further increase this appeal.
1 million S-CNG Vehicles
Additionally, he mentioned that MSIL has sold more than a million S-CNG vehicles in India to date and that they have prevented more than a million tonnes of CO2 emissions. According to the manufacturer, the suspension has been adjusted to the upgraded powertrain to improve ride quality, comfort, and safety.
There are currently 13 S-CNG models available from the Indo-Japanese automaker, including the Alto, Alto K10, S-Presso, WagonR, Eeco, Celerio, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga, Baleno, XL6, Super Carry, and Tour S. The Alto K10 S-measurements CNG’s are 3,530 mm in length, 1,490 mm in width, and 1,520 mm in height. The brand-new Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 S-CNG costs Rs. 5,94,500 and is exclusively offered in VXI trim (ex-showroom).
