The official trailer of the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been officially released online by Marvel Studios in the middle of Spider-Man: No Way Home’s successful opening weekend.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: Trailer

The trailer or teaser what one can say first appeared as the post-credits scene in the movie of Spider-Man: No Way Home. It is one of the trademarks of the MCU’s entries and it also ties a direct link to the movie and simultaneously current marvel entries of the so-called Phase 4.

Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise its tutular role of Doctor Stephen Strange in the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. We can expect we will see him to deal with all the other consequences not only of his actions but also meddling with the fabric of the multiverse, but his fellow Avengers.

Here we present the trailer:-

Expectations

The film Doctor Stranger in the Multiverse of Madness seems to show us about the dealing with all the consequences of Doctor Strange because of helping out our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, Peter Parker. It seems it will give us at least some explainations about the outcome of Wanda Maximoff’s, The Scarlet Witch and most surprisingly the latest animated series named What if…? which has streamed this year in Disney+.

The trailer also shows us different characters from different films, series, comics. Gargantos Monster is one of the example, which fans have wrongly theorizes that it might be Shuma Gorath, after the trailer leaked to the internet in the last week when the Spider-man movie opened in theaters.

In the trailer the appearance of Shuma Gorath has been exploded but the Lego toys for the film have confirmed that it’s the Gargantos Monster.

The another most interesting thing that fans have became crazy for is the presence of “Strange Supreme”, an evil variant of Doctor Strange that first appeared in the What if…? series back in September of 2021.

How the animated series and the movie will tie in is mere speculation, but it’s believed that this character will be one of the main antagonists of the film. The trailer also reintroduces Mordo to MCU fans, however, it’s clear that he is no longer an ally to Strange and company.

The movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is directed by comic book movie veteran Sam Raimi, whose first two Spider-man movies back in 2002 and 2004 practically set the base as to what modern superhero films could be. It also helps that Raimi is an established horror director, which fits perfectly with the tone and setting of Doctor Strange’s character.

Cast

The film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Benedict Wong as Wong, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mordo, as well as newcomers Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch and Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez.

Release Date

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is going to release in theates on 6th May 2022.
