Paramount Pictures has dropped the first trailer of the highly anticipated film, The Lost City, it was titled previously The Lost City of D. This time the latest trailer does not waste any time to show such the amazing chemistry between the stars Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum and also with the villain of the film Daniel Radcliffe.
Bullock before has been introduced as an introvert but he also a wildly successful romantic novelist, Tatum as “the world’s sexiest cover model”, and Radcliffe is an eccentric billionaire who is on the hunt on the titular lost city and also the treasures, the trailer also reveals Brad Pitt’s comedic chops just like he is swooping in to seemingly protect the day in such with the memorable cameo.
The story is based on the brilliant and also exclusives author Loretta Sage who has spent her career writing about such exotic places in such of her popular romantic adventure novels that are starring cover model Alan, who has passed his life by performing her character, “Dash”. Now the tour is promoting her new book with Alan, Loretta who has been kidnapped by a billionaire who wishes that she can lead him to such an ancient lost city’s treasure from the new story.
He just wants to prove himself as a real-life hero not just in her comic book, Alan starts the journey to rescue her. It is an epic jungle adventure, there is the unlikely pair that just need to work together for the survival of the elements and also to find out the ancient treasure before it becomes lost forever.
Undoubtedly, people will compare it with Romancing the Stone, but this latest film has been promised to be an adventure on its own, even if Tatum is roughly the hero that he has been pretending to become the romance novel covers.
The Lost City: Cast
This film is featuring Sandra Bullock, Tatum Radcliffe, Brad Pitt, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Oscar Nunez, Patti Harrison, and Bowen Yang. This latest comedy has been directed by Adam Nee and Aaron Nee who also wrote the film along with Oren Uziel and Dana Fox, and it is only just based on the story by Seth Gordon.
The two actors Bullock and Gordon have been listed as the producers of the movie along with Liza Chain, while Fox has been worn such an additional hat as the executive producer along with JJ Hook, Julia Gunn, and Margaret Chernin.
The Lost City: Release date
This film will come to theatres exclusively on 25th March 2022.
