Shreyas Iyer hits century on his Test debut; Check out all the Indian cricketers who scored a century on their Test debut

Shreyas Iyer scored a century against New Zeland in Kanpur in the 1st Test of the series. He has now become the 16th Indian cricketer to score a century on Test debut.

Iyer joins the elite list of players which include Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, etc. Lets’s take a look at all the 16 Indian crickets who scored a century on their Test debut.

Shreyas Iyer scored 105 off 171 balls. During his brilliant innings, he stroke 13 fours and a couple of sixes. He was dismissed by Tim Southee. He is also the third successive Mumbai player after Rohit Sharma and Prithvi Shaw to score a hundred on Test debut.
