“Jersey”: Shahid Kapoor stars in the trailer of the sports drama film

Shahid Kapoor has dropped the first poster of his upcoming film that is based on Cricket.  He has revealed the poster to all of the fans. This movie is mainly the Hindi remake of the Nani featuring the same name After sharing the poster Shahid wrote, “It’s TIME! We have waited to share this emotion with you for 2 years.

This is a special story. The entire team is also very special This Character is special and also the fact that they have shared it on the big screen with you all is special. I don’t have words to express my gratitude. I hope you all feel what I felt when played him”.

The original Telugu film Jersey featuring Nani and Shradha Srinath was released in 2019. The story of the movie is based on  Arjun who is a failed cricketer who has taken the decision to complete his dream of representing team India for his son. This sports drama film has been directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who was also won the Best Telugu Film and Best Editing categories at the 67th National Film Awards.

The actor has revealed in Instagram LIVE that before he saw success with Kabir Singh in 2019, he was very “unhappy” with his career mainly the way it is shaping up. He also said that he had watched Jersey before Kabir Singh.

The time while he had seen it, he had been unhappy. He just used to think where my career would go, and what he would do next. He also could relate the story of Jersey, which is based on late success. It is mainly based on a man who has found out glory at the time while people think to take retirement.

He also praised Nani who is a Telugu actor, and say that Nani has played the role so well and made him “cry your five times”. Shahid also exposed that there are many who dissuaded him from doing this remake of Jersey.

Shahid Kapoor also has rah and DK’s latest  Amazon prime Video series and also a movie with Ali Abbas Zafar. The untitled project is set to be the remake v of the French movie Nuit Blanche.

It has been added that this film will release on 23rd November.
