Upcoming $Davis Fan Token will make the 2021 Davis Cup Finals the most interactive tennis tournament ever

  • The official Fan Token of the Davis Cup by Rakuten will be launched on November 17 at 1PM (CET) on the Socios.com app.
  • Four polls will be immediately available for $DAVIS Fan Token holders, allowing them to influence the tournament like never before, choosing artwork designs, inspirational messagesand much more.

The official Davis Cup by Rakuten Fan Token $DAVIS, the digital asset that will grant fans worldwide unprecedented access to the World Cup of tennis, will be launched on
Wednesday November 17th on the Socios.com all-in-one influence and rewards app for sports fans across the world.

At 1PM (CET), 175,000 $DAVIS Fan Tokens will be released priced at 2 euros on a first-come, first-served basis, in what will be the first Fan Token Offering (FTO) of a tennis organization since the Socios.com app was released in late 2019.

A new array of opportunities to engage with and influence the tournament will be available for tennis fans around the globe straight away. Four Fan Polls will be launched on the Socios.com app for fans to vote and make the 2021 Davis Cup Finals, to be played from November 25 to December 5th simultaneously in Madrid, Turin and Innsbruck, the most interactive tennis tournament ever played.

$DAVIS Fan Token holders will be asked to choose:

  • The kick off message that will mark the start of the tournament and each of the games.
  • A limited edition ball can design for the Davis Cup final.
  • A message for the locker room wall of the three “host” nations Spain, Italy and Austria.
  • A tunnel arch image for the final.

“These exciting polls are just a sample of the many ways fans will be able to influence the Davis Cup through the $DAVIS Fan Token and the Socios.com app. The potential for Fan Tokens in tennis is huge and the Davis Cup is the perfect partner to show it. This year’s Finals will be absolutely unique, and this is only the beginning of the journey,” said Alexandre Dreyfus, Founder and CEO of Socios.com.

Apart from influencing key fan-related decisions, $DAVIS Fan Token holders can look forward to accessing exclusive discounts and promotions and opting to win unique prizes and rewards, from official products to VIP experiences. In addition, fans will be able to put their skills to the test against other users in games, competitions and quizzes, competing in global leaderboards and earning real-life and digital rewards, benefits and experiences along the way.

$DAVIS Fan Token holders will also have the chance to experience Socios.com’s geo-location, augmented reality feature ‘Token Hunt’ and opt to collect limited edition NFTs minted to commemorate the biggest moments of the tournament.

One $DAVIS Fan Token will be enough to vote on all the polls and to take part in all the Davis Cup-related app features; but the more tokens owned, the higher the influence and the more chances to be rewarded.

This launch will make the Davis Cup by Rakuten the first sports tournament to release a Fan Token on Socios.com and also the first tennis brand to join a network of more than 100 major sporting organizations on the Socios.com roster, including global football giants FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, AC Milan, Atlético Madrid, Valencia, Manchester City, Inter Milan, Arsenal and the Argentina and Portugal national teams, as well as a number of leading teams from F1, esports and
cricket.
