Moto Watch 100 Design and Specs Leaked, May Come With 1.3-inch Circular Display

Every smartphone maker is diversifying into the wristwatch business, and in that direction, the Lenovo-owned Motorola is ready to introduce its latest wearable. The Moto 100 The smartwatch’s designs and specifications have surfaced ahead of its introduction. An exclusive report by 91Mobiles has revealed the renders of Motorola’s soon-to-be-announced wearable from a trusted industry source. These exclusive renders provide the most detailed look at the Moto Watch 100 design yet.

Going by the newly leaked design renders, we can see that the upcoming Motorola smartwatch will feature a circular module. Moreover, there is nothing super fancy going on with the smartwatch. It seems to be rather based on quite a minimalistic design for the most part.

On the left side of the smartwatch, we can see two buttons. From the looks of it, these buttons come with a metallic finish. On the other hand, the Moto Watch 100 body seems to be based on a matte finish. Another thing to note here is that the upcoming smartwatch will not sport a rotating bezel.

Moto Watch 100 Specifications

As per 91Mobiles, Moto Watch 100 comes with a 1.3-inch circular LCD display with a resolution of 360×360 pixels. The watch case is made up of aluminium and has a plastic backplate. A silicon band with a 20mm width is paired to the smartwatch. Moto Watch 100 will come with sensors including a heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, HRM, SP02, and ambient light sensors. Apart from that, the watch will come with various activity trackers and a step counter. However, the exact number of fitness modes has not been revealed yet.

Talking about the dimensions of the smartwatch, it will measure 42x46x11.9mm and weigh just 29 grams. The wristwatch will have sleep tracking and a step counter, but the number of fitness modes it offers will have to wait.

On the battery front, the upcoming Moto Watch 100 will pack a 355mAh battery. The smartwatch will use Bluetooth v5.2 for connectivity. We will also get to see an in-built GPS system on the smartwatch. In terms of software, nothing is clear for now. It could possibly run on the Google WearOS like the Moto 360.
