Watching young players grow in football is one of the most exciting parts of the sport. And right now, we have an abundance of top talent looking to break through. So, here are the top five young players that could earn a big move in the coming year. 

Dusan Vlahovic 

The Fiorentina striker has seven goals in eleven appearances for Fiorentina this season. He managed to score 21 in the previous campaign, which goes to show how good he is. Fiorentina are willing to make him the highest paid player in history in order to keep him. His current deal expires in 2023, and he could possibly move for a big fee next year. 

Florian Wirtz 

Heralded as the heir to Kai Havertz at Bayer Leverkusen, Wirtz has burst onto the scene in Germany. The youngster has six goals and assists from eight appearances, and is turning heads from all across Europe. He is still a teenager, and could earn a move to a big club very soon unless Leverkusen gives him a new contract.

Charles De Ketelaere 

De Ketelaere scored his first goal for the Belgian national team in their 2-1 loss to Italy recently. The Club Brugge midfielder has been titled the heir to Kevin De Bruyne, since he is comfortable in a variety of attacking midfield roles. The player was voted the most promising Belgian player in 2020, and has impressed with his performances this season. 

Karim Adeyemi 

After Erling Haaland, Sadio Mane and Patson Daka, Karim Adeyemi is the next big forward to come from Salzburg. The youngster has scored 14 goals across 18 appearances in all competitions this season. PSG and Liverpool are being rumoured as potential destinations for the young forward. 

Jude Bellingham 

The former Birmingham City player is making a name for himself at Dortmund. He is England’s youngest international ever at a major tournament, debuting at 17 years old. His status as one of the most talented youngsters has been solidified thanks to his outstanding performances for Dortmund.
