Honor X30 Max 5G and Honor X30i launched in China

Honor held a virtual launch event today wherein it launched two new mid-range smartphones in China. It released the Honor X30 Max 5G and the Honor X30i, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 and MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC.

Let us take a look at the detailed specifications of these smartphones:

Honor X30 Max 5G

The Honor X30 Max 5G has been launched with a 7.09″ FHD+ TFT LCD display. It has a pretty big display in comparison to other devices at this price point, Honor appears to have made the display one of the major highlights of the device.

The device comes powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset and is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage configurations.

Coming to the camera specs of the device, it has a dual-camera setup on the rear with a 64MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. The Honor X30 Max 5G has an 8MP selfie shooter.

Honor has integrated a good 5,000mAh battery which supports 22.5W charging.

The phone runs on Android 11 based Magic UI 5.0. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, support for NFC, and symmetrical Dual-speakers.

The Honor X30 Max 5G weighs 228g and is 8.3mm thick.

The device is priced at Yuan 2,399 or 27,350 INR for the 8GB RAM+128GB variant and the 8GB RAM+256GB variant is priced at Yuan 2,699 or 30,770 INR.

Honor X30i

The Honor X30i features a 6.7″ FHD+ TFT LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a Touch-Sampling rate of 180Hz. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset and is paired with 6GB/8GB RAM options.

Coming to the camera specs of the Honor X30i, it has a triple camera setup on the rear with a 48MP primary sensor and two, 2MP secondary sensors. It has an 8MP selfie shooter as well.

The X30i features a 4,000mAh battery with support for 22.5W charging, it runs on Android 11 based MagicUI 5.0.

For biometrics, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and also comes with up to 2GB of Virtual RAM.

The X30i has a 3.5mm audio jack and weighs 175g.

The device is available in three storage configurations, a 6GB RAM+128GB variant that retails for Yuan 1,399 or 15,950 INR, an 8GB RAM+128GB variant that retails for Yuan 1,699 or 19,370 INR, and an 8GB RAM+256GB variant that retails for Yuan 1,899 or 21,650 INR.

Both the devices have been launched in China for the time being. We are not sure which other markets will be receiving them in the near future.
