Microsoft’s Halo Infinite game for Xbox will soon be hitting the console and in preparation for the game, the company has released its campaign footage on Monday, October 25. this new footage is a part of a special video broadcast, which the game studio has announced.

The broadcast comes less than two months before Halo Infinite launches on December 8 and we have seen lots of Halo Infinite’s multiplayer displayed by 343, and the developer even held multiple betas, the company hasn’t revealed much of the campaign in some time.

However, it all changed with the arrival of the video.

“The Banished have defeated UNSC forces and taken control of the mysterious Zeta Halo, threatening the survival of humankind. When all hope is lost and humanity’s fate hangs in the balance, the Master Chief returns to confront the most ruthless foe he’s ever faced. Here’s a fresh look at the Halo Infinite campaign that introduces players to true Spartan freedom in the biggest, most wide-open, and adventure-filled Halo experience yet, launching on December 8, 2021.”

343 boss Joseph Staten stated that the development team is now in its “shutdown mode,” meaning that the work on the game’s main features for launch is now finished. However, the delay is the result of the studio now fixing the highest priority bugs. This is a big job that takes a lot of time and resources, and creating a new campaign demo or trailer to show off the campaign would have slowed things down.

Hence, the company took its time to prepare for the new campaign video, and the game’s campaign and multiplayer are separate, standalone products. The multiplayer is free-to-play, however, the campaign mode is full price. Both games are also offered through Xbox Game Pass.
