Despite the rising popularity of earbuds and their decreasing prices, manufacturers are still actively involved in making different forms of headphones including the wireless neckband-style type.

If you are a fan of neckband wireless headphones, a new report suggests that we will soon be getting a new pair from OnePlus.

OnePlus neckband-style wireless headphones are sold under the Bullets Wireless line, and considering it has been a year since the launch of the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z, the news about a brand new model arriving soon is not as surprising.

This report comes from reliable Indian tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhisekhd on Twitter) and he has disclosed in a tweet that he was informed by a source that OnePlus will soon launch a pair of new wireless Bluetooth neckband earphones in India.

While we do not have any more information on the possible specs of the earphones, we can expect some standard features that we have seen in previous OnePlus neckband earphones such as water and sweat resistance, Quick Switch, Fast Pair, and Warp Charge.
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z

The new headphones are likely to launch as the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z 2 or the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 3, it has been over two years since the launch of the OnePlus Bullets Wireless 2, so at this point, a successor is long overdue.

We do not know when the earphones will launch but they will most likely be launched alongside other products. The OnePlus 9RT is expected to launch in India very soon, so both these products may be launched at the same event.
