Amazfit rebranded its logo a few days back that represents its motto accurately. At the same event, it refreshes the most popular two smartwatch lineups – GTR and GTS. The smartwatch specialist introduced Amazfit GTS 3, Amazfit GTR 3, and Amazfit GTR 3 Pro. The Amazfit team knows the demand in India very well. So, they didn’t take much time to bring all the three new smartwatches here.
In the Indian market, both the GTR 3 and GTS 3 are available at INR 13,999. The GTR 3 Pro, on the other hand, is available at INR 18,999. Now the point is, do you really need to pay INR 5,000 extra to own the GTR 3 Pro over GTR 3 and GTS 3? For the answer, you need to know what exactly you are getting extra with GTR 3 Pro over the other two. Let’s find out –
⭐ Calling
The most helpful feature the GTR 3 Pro offers is Bluetooth Calling, and it’s not available in the other two models. You can attend and reject your calls directly from your wrist, and all you need is to connect the watch with your mobile via Bluetooth.
⭐ Internal Storage
If you choose the Pro version over the regulars, will get an option to store songs and enjoy the same offline. There are approximately 2.3 GB of storage available where you can store around 470 high quality songs. This facility is not available in GTR 3 and GTS 3.
⭐ Connectivity
All three new smartwatches from Amazfit have Bluetooth facilities. But in the GTR 3 Pro has 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity support as well. So, you can easily use applications like Spotify; no need to take out your smartphone.
⭐ Speaker
In the first point, I already mentioned that you can attend calls in the Pro. So, you definitely need a speaker with it, and Amazfit didn’t forget that. So, answering any call is now easy-peasy.
⭐ Temperature Sensor
All the watches are not to show time, right. These have other functionalities, like health monitoring and all, that make the products smart. In the health monitoring section, the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro comes with a Temperature sensor. It is missing from the GTR 3; however, the GTS 3 has it.
⭐ Screen Resolution
The Pro smartwatch houses a 1.45-inch AMOLED Ultra HD screen with a 70.6% screen-to-body ratio and 331 ppi pixel density. Though GTS 3 has almost the same, GTR 3 offers a 1.39-inch AMOLED HD screen with 66% screen t\o body ratio and 326 ppi pixel density.
As per my opinion, charging Rs.5,000 extra for the mentioned additional features are worth it. And you can use eAmazfit smartwatches in the long term because they maintain the quality of every product.
Despite these additional features, there is one minor downgrade, and that’s the Bluetooth version. Among the three, only the GTR 3 Pro has Bluetooth 5.0, and the other two have Bluetooth 5.1.
