Design of Earbuds

The pTron Bassbuds Jade has an extended earpiece part, which means the lower part that remains outside the ear. Like most other pTron TWS earbuds the pTron Bussbuds Jade has a unique design that pops out of the ordinary. The Jade has an illuminated design on each earbud that glows with both green and red lights. The green light gives a proper gaming vibe when it globs in the ears.

The oval design on the ear tips is a new trend and the reason behind it is that our ear canal is somewhat oval in shape, so this oval earpiece design fits perfectly and creates an airtight design. There is a specific area on the earbuds for touch control.

There is a microphone on each earbud near the touch area which helps to pass a clear sound to the other side. It helps to digitally cancel out any environmental sound entering the ear and gives refined audio in the ears.

Built

The pTron Bassbuds Jade is built over a plastic frame and the quality looks fine for an under Rs.2,000 earbud. Apart from the earbuds the built quality and design of the carrying case are extraordinarily amazing. The carrying case has a symmetrical geometric shape with several edges and it has a matte finish.

From the front side, there are two eye-like areas on the case that lights up in green colour. Whenever the lid is opened the light glows up and also while charging the lights glow up which gives a proper gaming vibe.

Audio Quality

Now coming to the USP of these earbuds, we can see that the company claims to provide one of the lowest audio latency in the pTron Bassbuds Jade earbuds. It has a 60ms best-in-class Ultra-Low Latency Advanced Gaming feature that helps the gamers to get crystal clear audio at the proper timing.

The audio quality of the pTron Bassbuds Jade is off the charts. After testing a bunch of pTron earbuds of different ranges, thanks to pTron for sending me those earbuds on time, I can clearly say that no other earbuds can match the quality of sound with the Jade. The Jade tops the chart in the response time. Especially the highs (audio) and clarity are up to the mark.

We are also getting a dual HD Mic with 10mm drivers for Clear Audio & Calls. Now coming to the bass of these earbuds, Jade delivers the best bass among all pTron and other earbuds in this range. Needless to mention, the Jade is made for gaming and these earbuds are nailing it.

Steps to pair the pTron Bassbuds Jade with any iOS and Android devices.

• Open the lid of the case and take out the earbuds.
• Then turn on the Bluetooth of your smartphone/ iPad/ laptop.
• Search for any wireless device.
• Then the newly found device section you can see the name pTron TWS.
• Click on the name and then it will ask to pair with the TWS earbuds.
• Accept the prompt and pair with it.

Comfort

Each earbud of ptron Bassbuds Jade is very lightweight and after fitting in ears it will feel like nothing is in the ears. In the case of comfort, the Jade can be given some priority. Needless to say most of the pTron earbuds are very comfortable because of their little weights.

I am using the Bassbuds Jade for almost a week and it has become my daily gaming partner. The earbuds are very comfortable for a longer gaming session as well. It does not hurt your ears like other earbuds for wearing it longer than usual.

Usage

The pTron Bassbuds Jade are IPX4 sweat and water-resistant all-weather earbuds. It can be worn while workout, while the silicon tip is adjustable with two other spare ear tips of different sizes. Along with this, the button controls make it more user-friendly and accessible with any one hand.

As usual, I would again like to focus on the microphone of this earbud which is quite impressive like other premium pTron earbuds like pTron Bassbuds Ultima. The usual thing which I have noticed is that while using outdoor especially on a call, the person on the other side of the call might face some problem to receive your voice properly in a crowded place with a mask on. In such a situation, you need to talk loudly so that the microphone can receive your sound properly.

Battery and Charging

The pTron Bassbuds Jade has a massive gaming time of 40 hours, which is one of the best right now in the market. The Type-C charging port is at the back of the case and it can charge with 1.5 hours from 0 to 100.

Our Thought

After using it for a week I am totally impressed with the audio quality, design, and build of this earbud. The whole case of the TWS is giving a gaming vibe all the time. Apart from look, the low latency is shown its difference, this is making the Jade different from other earbuds.
