September is shaping out to be quite the month as manufacturers appear to have scheduled a slew of launch events, usually, brands try to not keep launch events on days where there is a possibility of it coinciding with a rival or competitor’s brand, but that seems to not apply to this week as multiple brands have scheduled launch events on the same date:
Honor’s launch event
- When? On the 26th of September
- Where? Streamable via YouTube and on Honor’s official site
Honor has scheduled an event on Sunday, the 26th of September during which it will unveil Honor Life products as well as from its mobile division. The Honor Tab V7 will also be launched, the standard model to the Honor V7 Pro had launched in August.
The launch of the Honor V7 could be forecasted shortly after the launch of the Pro model, due to the details on the spec sheet of the Magic-Pencil 2 stylus that revealed its compatibility with multiple Honor tablets including the yet-to-be-announced Honor Tab V7.
Honor will also unveil the Vision X2 Smart TV, MagicBook Pro 16, a smart home camera, massage gun, and oral irrigator.
Oppo’s launch event
- When? On the 26th of September

Oppo has set up a launch event for tomorrow, where it has confirmed that it will launch a new wearable, the Oppo Watch Free, the Oppo K9 Pro, and the Oppo Smart TV K9.
Xiaomi’s launch event
- When? On the 27th of September
- Where? Streamable via YouTube and on Oppo’s official site
Xiaomi has two new products that it will be adding to its product catalog on Monday. One of them is a new pair of wireless earbuds that are expected to launch as the Xiaomi True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earphones 3 Pro.
However, the highlight of the launch will be the brand new smartphone, the Xiaomi Civi.
The Xiaomi Civi is a mid-range device with a slightly biased focus on design. It has been confirmed that the phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC and a 4,500mAh battery.
Xiaomi is also set to announce the Watch Color 2, a successor to the Watch Color announced earlier last year. The new smartwatch will have a round dial, two physical buttons, and over 200 watch faces!
iQOO’s launch event
- When? On the 27th of September
- Where? Device has already launched in China and will be coming to India
iQOO is all set to launch the new iQOO Z5 in India on Monday, the brand has equipped the device with a 120Hz LCD display, a triple-camera system with a 64MP primary sensor, the Snapdragon 778G chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.
Amazon’s launch event
- When? Tuesday, September 28th
- Where? Amazon’s launch events are usually private and not streamed publicly.
Amazon has scheduled a launch for its new Echo products on the 28th of September. This was a last-minute launch event squeezed in by the brand.
Reports indicate the presence of a new wall-mounted Echo Show and an Alexa-powered soundbar.
POCO’s launch event
- When? Thursday, the 30th of September
- Where? Can be streamed via POCO’s official site or on YouTube
POCO India has scheduled a launch on the 30th of September and the teasers indicate a brand new POCO C-Series smartphone. The POCO C3 was the first phone under the C-Series and is due for a successor already. Unfortunately, we have not got our hands on any specs of this device.
Oppo’s launch event(yes, another one!)
- When? Friday, 1st of October
- Where? Streamable online via YouTube or Oppo’s official site
Oppo has scheduled a launch event but this one will be in India, the Chinese smartphone pioneer will unveil the new Oppo A55, a 4G smartphone with a 50MP rear primary sensor, a punch-hole display, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
