Andre Nortje breaks the internet after delivering the top Eight fastest balls of IPL 2021 against SRH

Anrich Nortje made his return to the playing XI of Delhi Capitals against Sunrisers Hyderabad in phase two of IPL 2021 on Friday. The South African pacer started the second half for his team in express style. He took the key wicket of David Warner in the first over of the innings to give Delhi Capitals a great start.

That wasn’t the only feat he achieved as he clocked the top eight fast deliveries of the IPL 2021 season. Out of these 8 deliveries, Nortje’s three deliveries crossed the 150 kmph mark. Let’s take a look at Anrich Nortje’s spectacular spell that broke all the speed records of this season.

The South African fast bowler clocked 151.71 kmph, 151.37 kmph, 150.83 kmph, 150.21 kmph, 149.97 kph, 149.29 kmph, 149.15 kmph and 148.76 kmph. In the end, Anrich Nortje finished with outstanding figures of 2 wickets for 12 runs from his 4 overs.

Consequently, the 26-year-old pacer received the player of the match award for his terrific bowling display against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Captain Rishabh Pant hailed his fiery DC pacers after securing a 8-wicket win over SRH. “Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje are two of the quickest bowlers in the world and I think they’re great assets to have.”
