A known tipster has just revealed that Redmi is working on a smartphone, although, this upcoming device will apparently still feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and will offer a 120Hz refresh rate.

According to a Weibo post, from  @数码闲聊站, Redmi is reportedly working on a new handset that features the Snapdragon 870 SoC. Furthermore, the tipster has added that this model will feature a 6.7″ OLED display with an FHD+(2400x1080p) resolution along with a 50MP primary camera on the rear,

While it is unclear on which series this phone would be included in, speculations point towards a new variant in the K40 lineup and it could be called the K40S or might even be a part of the upcoming K50 Series.
