Xiaomi 11T series renders reveal an updated camera module and color options

The Xiaomi 11T Series is expected to launch on the 15th of September at a global event that will be held virtually. Ahead of its official unveiling, noted industry insider Ishan Agarwal has shared the renders of the Xiaomi 11T Series, they first appeared on the site of a European retailer.

These renders belong to the Xiaomi 11T and the 11T Pro and show that the two devices look pretty much the same and even feature the same color options, from the renders, we also get to see an updated camera module from the Mi 11 and Mi 11x handsets.

The Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro renders show the upcoming smartphones will be closer in design to the Mi 11X Series than to the Mi 11 models. This reflects in the center placement of the hole-punch display as well as the design of the camera module.

The square module has two big sensors and a smaller one, with an LED flash and a 108MP AI Camera, both the 11T and the 11T Pro have 108MP sensors. On the back, we get to see the Xiaomi 5G branding towards the bottom-left corner, the volume key and the power key are on the right spine.

As for the colors, a listing by a UK retailer last week showed that the device will arrive in Meteorite Gray, Celestial Blue, and Moonlight White colors. The same hues can be observed in the image above.

The leak from last week also claimed that the Xiaomi 11T and the 11T Pro models will come in 8GB+ 128GB and 8GB+256GB storage models. The former is said to feature an AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek processor, and a triple rear camera setup on the back.

The latter will have a 120Hz OLED panel, a Snapdragon 888 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery along with support for 120W charging.

The tipster who leaked the Xiaomi 11T Pro mentioned above also revealed the design today, however, instead of being official renders, these are mock-ups based on a real-life unit the person has witnessed.

These renders are mostly accurate except that the accents on the camera module in the mock-ups are way too prominent in comparison to those in the official renders. The device may retail for 27,999 INR but that is mere speculation.

In addition to the Xiaomi 11T and the 11T Pro, the tipster also revealed the render of the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G in a white color variant.

The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G that originally launched as the Mi 11 Lite 5G which is already available in Vinyl Black, Tuscany Coral, and Jazz Blue color variants may also receive a White colorway at the September 15th launch event.

The design of the smartphone appears to be the exact same but the back panel appears to have gotten some sort of a texture, we will find out more about the device in the days to come.
