The latest update for Epic Game’s greatest creation Fortnite is here. The game is currently in its Season 7 and its festive season. The new update brings Will Smith’s Mike Lowrey character from the Bad Boys movie franchise to the battle royale’s Item Shop. And it’s epic in all true sense.
The developer announced the Bad Boys x Fortnite crossover in a blog post on Saturday, while also revealing that a little of Miami’s South Beach will also be coming to the game by way of detective Mike Lowrey.
We have all seen the latest and most probably the final instalment in the Bad Boys saga, the movie is a treat for all the fans of Bad Boys and of course, it’s always a pleasure seeing Will Smith in action.
As of now, the Mike Lowrey outfit can be purchased in the battle royale game from the item’s shop and the item includes the Detective’s Duffle Back Bling.
The set will also feature Lowrey’s dual-wielding pickaxe known as the Loose Cannon Cutters. The image released by Epic Games is simply amazing.
However, that’s the end of things, we are only getting Mike Lowrey from the Bad Boys and his partner cum best friend and brother in arms, Marcus Burnett who is played by Martin Lawrence in the movies is nowhere to be seen.

many are excited for the inclusion of the new character, and this certainly is a treat for the fans of the Will Smith and Bad Boys franchise. However, the addition of a character like Mike Lowrey in Fortnite Season 7 is certainly an odd one.
As we know, the current season of Fortnite is themed around aliens and alien invasions. However, it is also true that if there is someone who has experience of fighting aliens in Hollywood, then it’s Will Smith.
The most obvious alien-themed choice when choosing a Will Smith character would have been Agent J from Men in Black, and we also have Steven Hiller from Independence Day too. While Lowrey is a good character, it certainly has never come face an alien attack before.
However, as a Will Smith fan, I like this addition and am waiting to get my hands on the equipment which is now available to purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop.
