Allegri confirms Ronaldo wants to leave Juventus right now

Juventus boss Max Allegri has confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo has asked to leave Juventus immediately.

Here is what the manager had to say about the situation: “Cristiano Ronaldo told me yesterday that he wants to LEAVE Juventus immediately. It’s true and confirmed. This is why he wasn’t training today and he’s not available for tomorrow match vs Empoli”

“I’m not disappointed by Cristiano Ronaldo. He wants to leave Juventus and he made a choice, he’s gonna look for a new club after three years here. It’s part of the life.”

The player was benched against Udinese and will not be available against Empoli in their second match of Serie A since he will no longer train with the club. Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has been in talks with Manchester City to finalise personal terms between the two parties, and Juventus have accepted that the player will leave the club in the next few hours.

Ronaldo has also left the training complex to say goodbye to his teammates since he no longer wants to continue with the Bianconeri, and he still has a verbal agreement with Manchester City for a contract. According to Fabrizio Romano, the new deal will not be worth €31 million per season as he has at Juventus right now. Jorge Mendes is working hard to finalise the deal as soon as possible.

Juventus are in talks with Everton for Moise Kean as the probable replacement for Ronaldo. Mino Raiola has taken over negotiations, and it will unfold over the next few days.
