Netflix has released the trailer of the anthology film Ankahi Kahaniya. It was released on Thursday and it has mainly focused on the three unconventional love stories. It is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. Abhishek Chaubey, and Saket Chaudhary. The story basically narrates the tales of love, loss, and also longing in Mumbai city.
The three of the love stories are very strange in which one is based on childhood romance which is good, the second one is about a man who finds love in a mannequin, and the third one is based on a couple who become the verge of separation.
The story of the Ashwiny has been led by Abhishek Banerjee, Kunal Kapoor, Zoya Hussain, Nikhil Dwivedi, and Palomi features in the story of Saket. The story of Abhishek is based on the Kannada story Madhyantara by Jayant Kaikini features Rinku Mahadeo Rajguru, Dellzad Hiwale.
In the statement, Ashwiny Iyer has said that in every story that she wants to challenge herself as a storyteller and make various emotional attachments between the viewers and the characters that become last in their minds for some time.
It is expected that with this story she can capture the imagination of the movie lovers having the questions which are mostly untold and unanswered emotions of the human went through. She is very glad that their story would reach the world that earned the belief of Netflix.
Abhishek has told that this is a story of the city in the 1980s and the teenage love in this world of single-screen theatres. It was the time while you are young and become caged in Mumbai and also looking for the love of the sweet escape. Now the matter which is better than finding it in the films. It is the one that has become close to his heart. He is really very excited for everyone to watch it.
Saket has told that love stories have always been one of his favourite categories. It is definitely a pleasure to be a part of Ankahi Kahaniya’s them of the thriving tale. He said that it had been literally great working alongside the talented set of directors and also become collaborated with Netflix for this anthology.
