Realme GT 5G and Realme GT Master Edition launched in India

Realme has finally launched its highly anticipated GT Series in India at its launch event held online today. Both the Realme GT and the GT Master Edition will go on sale on the 26th of August at 12 PM on Flipkart, Realme.com, and other retail stores.

The Realme GT Series has 2 killer devices, the Realme GT and the Realme GT Master Edition. The Master Edition was released as a show of appreciation towards Realme users after the brand reached 100 million in sales. Following are the specs of the Realme GT and the GT Master Edition

The Realme GT is the more expensive variant among both devices, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC based on a 5nm process. The Realme GT has 7GB of Virtual RAM via Dynamic RAM Extension.

The Realme GT sports a 6.43″ Super AMOLED display with FHD resolution, a high refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch-sampling rate of 360Hz, 91.7% screen-to-body-ratio, peak brightness of 1,000 nits, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

Coming to the camera specs of the Realme GT, the device has a triple-camera setup on the rear with a 64MP primary Sony IMX682 camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The camera can record 1080P and 4K videos at 60fps. The device has a 16MP selfie shooter.

The Realme GT has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W SuperDart charging, Realme has bundled the charger along with the device and claims it can charge the battery from 0 to 100 in 35 minutes.

This makes it the largest in comparison to smartphones that are available in the market. The device ships with Realme UI 2.0 that is based on Android 11 out-of-the-box. The device has the Vapor Cooling System so that your device does not overheat while gaming.

The Realme GT is priced at Rs.37,999 for the 8GB+128GB model and Rs.41,999 for the 12GB+256GB model. It comes in Racing Yellow, Dashing Blue, and Dashing Silver colorways.

The Realme GT Master Edition features a 6.43″ AMOLED Display with FHD+ pixels resolution, a high refresh rate of 120Hz, peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits, and 100% DCI-pe color gamut along with a touch sampling rate of 360Hz.

The Realme GT Master Edition is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC coupled up with 8GB RAM+256GB storage, it also has support for 4GB DRE for improved multitasking.

The Realme GT Master Edition runs on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 and has a 4,300mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. The Realme GT Master Edition comes with VC Liquid Cooling with pipes made of five layers with graphite, copper, aluminum alloy, and silica gel.

Coming to the camera specs of the device, the Realme GT Master Edition has a triple-camera setup on the rear with a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.

The device features a 32MP selfie shooter. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner. Apart from this, the Realme GT Master Edition has Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS/GLONASS, BeiDou, GALILEO, QZSS, and a USB Type-C port.

The Realme GT Master Edition is priced at 25,999 INR for the 6GB+128GB model while the 8GB+128GB model is priced at 27,999 INR, and the highest model is the 8GB+256GB one that is priced at 29,999 INR. It comes in Voyager Grey, Luna White, and Cosmos Black.
