Finally, gamers your wait for the ultimate all-AMD gaming laptop is over as ASUS has today announced the ASUS Advantage Edition ROG Strix G15 in India. It is one of the very few gaming laptops that have the AMD Advantage tag to it, equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen 5000H processors and Radeon RX 6000M graphics.

As a powerhouse, the laptop has up to Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU configuration along with the graphics processing power of AMD Radeon RX 6800M. The beastly CPU features 8 Zen 3 cores, 16 threads, and the clock speed can hit up to 4.6 GHz.


Coming to the GPU, the RX 6800M can deliver up to 2,300 MHz, a much higher output than the RDNA 1.0 mobile GPUs while sporting 12GB GDDR6 memory. The Strix G15 supports AMD’s exclusive features like SmartShift and Smart Access Memory that really helps in both gaming and everyday work.

Besides the gaming beast is coming with dual SO-DIMM slots, dual M.2 2280 slots, and a 90 Whr battery. There are multiple useful ports as well like 3.5mm jack, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, USB 3,2 Gen2 Type-C ports, LAN port, and HDMI 2.0b port.

Generally, ASUS offers two display options in the Strix G15 Advantage Edition, though, both the screens are IPS panels and 15.6-inch in size. The model with less price has FHD 300 Hz panel with a 100% sRGB colour gamut and the higher-end variant gets a 165 Hz QHD panel with 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy, both the panels support AMD FreeSync Premium and response time is 3ms.

In India, there’s only one variant launched and that has the better QHD display, paired with 16GB RAM and 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD.
