You can now drive a Tesla Model Y, Cybertruck, and more on PUBG Mobile 1.5: IGNITION

Krafton and Tencent Games have collaborated with Tesla to bring the latter’s popular vehicles to the widely acclaimed game, PUBG Mobile. Now, players can see the Tesla Model Y and the Cybertruck in the game.

With PUBG’s new 1.5 updates, which is expected to bring out multiple changes in the Erangel Map along with the addition of the Tesla vehicles.

PUBG Mobile x Tesla has also brought the American electric vehicle pioneers Gigafactory, which the players will be able to explore. In this factory, one can assemble the Model Y which is a self-driving car along with other vehicles such as the Cybertruck as well by activating certain switches.

These cars will then proceed to drive around the map and drop supply crates when they are damaged by any players that encounter them.

The game, however, will not allow players to drive these vehicles. The update will bring changes to Erangel by overhauling the buildings alongside new equipment like the futuristic anti-gravity bike.

While these changes in the update are available for the mobile port of their battle royale game, its PC variant is likely to not receive a similar update keeping in mind the fact that its gameplay is based around more realistic mechanics.

The new PUBG collaboration gives Tesla yet another avenue to advertise its latest lineup of vehicles. The Elon Musk-led brand has always found ways to stay in the news and keep its products trending. This collaboration is just another example of that.
