New information leaks about Intel’s Alder Lake mobile lineup

Intel’s Alder Lake is soon scheduled to arrive and we all know that the new lineup will employ high-performing Golden Cove (GLC) and power-efficient Gracemont (GRT) cores along with Xe graphics. There have been many news and leaks regarding the lineup, however, now there is some information that might be the most accurate ones so far about Alder Lake mobile SKUs.

The latest piece of information comes from a tweeter user by the name of @9550pro. According to the leaker, Alder Lake-S will be available for both mobile and desktop. These leaks also confirm the availability of a BGA socket Alder Lake SKU. The leak suggests that mobile Alder Lake-S H55 will use a BGA1964 socket and will also be configured in a 45-55 W TDP range.

M5 package is aimed at tablets and offers a PL1/PL2 between 5 W and 7 W but the U9 is aimed towards ultra-thin devices with a 9 W to 15 W range.

The P package offers U15 (mainstream thin and light), U28 (performance thin and light), and H45 (thin enthusiast) segments. Normally there will 12 W to 28 W configured for the U-series. But Intel will reportedly be bifurcating the U-series into U15 and a new U28 lineup for its Alder Lake series.
