England vs Denmark semi-final Euro 2020 preview

England face Denmark in the second semi final of the European Championship tonight. The winner of the match will face Italy in the finals of the competition. 

Denmark have enjoyed a fairytale campaign in the Euros. Christian Eriksen collapsed in the very first match against Finland. And despite losing the game, the team managed to make it to the semifinals. They took on Russia, Wales and Czech Republic in the knockout stages and went past all of them. 

Joakim Maehle will be the man to keep an eye on for Denmark, and he has established himself as the surprise star for the campaign. Kasper Dolberg will also be one to watch for the Danes along with their strong centre-back trio of Kjaer, Christensen and Vestergaard. 

England on the other hand, have the chance to end their semifinal curse and progress into the finals of the competition. They have the advantage heading into the fixture since they are playing it in their home stadium, Wembley.

They have played the majority of their matches there and will also play the final there if they win the match. Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane will both be the ones to watch for the Three Lions, and they will be cruising in with momentum following their 4-0 victory over Ukraine.
